frowning eskimo an afternoon moon

face framed in fur trimmed parka  distant hawks like hangliders

  1. These are actually two separate haiku, but when there was a glitch in the upload that wiped out the formatting, I liked the way they read together. I was unable to capture the hawks lazily gliding and circling in front of the moon, there must’ve be over a dozen of them, but the moon itself is available for viewing on the “Inspiring Vistas” page.
